Dude, this frakin' rocks!
On a slightly more serious note: Hang in there, man. I know that this past little while has been a royal pain in the ass, but you'll get past it w/ Jodi and Zoe by your side.
I would be eager to read the sequal to the novel idea you sent Jarrad.
Y'know, the one where the guy who lives w/ his mother-in-law gets the house he wants for his family, how he gets the education, training and occupation he truly wants, and raises his daughter with all the cool things he has found along the way:
The Green-belt in wheat ridge, Crown Hill park and lake (& cemetery), Kung Fu San Soo, Ghost Ranch, River rafting, canoeing on a bayou, gatherings of friends, the unique rewards of seeking and 'getting' of intellectual pleasure, world travel, mountain bike riding, and a steady supply of built-in aunts and uncles who love her and her father and her mother.
hang in there, man.
